    Theatre Scholarship Days
    (High School Seniors Only)

Students planning to pursue a major or a minor in theatre are encouraged to audition for a scholarship with faculty from the Theatre Department.

To be considered for a Theatre Scholarship:

    • Acting- perform two contrasting monologues (about three minutes in length total); bring a resume or a list of production experiences, and come ready to discuss your interests and goals.
    • Musical Theatre– perform a monologue and 16 or 32 bars of a musical theatre repertoire (or two contrasting musical theatre selections instead of a monologue); bring a resume or a list of production experiences, and come ready to discuss your interests and goals.
    • Directing- bring a resume or a list of production experiences, including production photos and programs and come ready to discuss your interests and goals.
    • Design/Technical Theatre/Stage Management- bring a resume or a list of production experiences; include examples of creative work, if available (pictures, drawings, production photos), and come ready to discuss your interests and goals.
    • Multiple interests– If you are interested in more than one area of specialization, you don’t need to choose concentration right now. Bring a resume or a list of production experiences, and come ready to discuss your interests and goals.
